How much sample is needed for XRD or SEM Analysis?
Not much - about 5 grams or 2 cubic centimeters is sufficient.  10 to 15 grams is ideal.

How long does the analysis take?
This depends on the number of samples you submit and the workload at the time.  In general a 10 sample XRD or SEM project can be completed in about one or two weeks.

What is XRD?
XRD is an abbreviation for X-ray diffraction.

What is SEM?
SEM is an abbreviation for Scanning Electron Microscopy.

What other analyses can you provide?
I can recommend other laboratories or individuals that do the following:
Thin section preparation - FPC Geological Labs
    Thin section analysis
    Inorganic Geochemistry
Isotopic dating of rocks and minerals
Apatite and Zircon Fission Track Services - Apatite to Zircon, Inc.
Mineral Separation Services - Apatite to Zircon, Inc.

Where the heck is Argyle Texas?
Argyle is located in north Texas about 5 miles south of the city of Denton.  It is North of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metromess.
